On July 15th 2018, 28 people took on the Virgin Active British London 10k to support and raise funds to buy a bus for the children at Heritage Outreach. This event which took place on a beautiful sunny morning was sponsored by DT&T, an international money transfer company. It was a great atmosphere as a number of friends and families joined to cheer the Heritage Outreach runners, joggers and walkers on.

We’re very grateful to Gbemi Deru, Simbo Ojuroye, Vivian Lee, Neil Majeur, Sean Mcfayden, Claudia Pacillo, Erika Trindade, Abi Taiwo, Olamide Ayodele, Foluso Aluko, Funmi Gibson-White, Toyin Adesemowo, Monica Alabi, Funke Akinfe, Meg Omolayole, Ibiyemi Babatunde, Tunji & Tinu (Tola) Oloyede, Yewande Ayelabola, Vanessa Lawrence, Mo Pampam, Bunmi Fatungase, Taiwo and Yetty Ashiru, Bunmi Ogunlesi, Funmi Alli, Femi & Ronke Akerele for taking on this challenge for Heritage Outreach!  Between them they raised over £9,916.

Thanks to all their supporters and everyone one who contributed to the fundraising event we have purchased  a bus for our home. The bus arrived at Heritage Outreach home on the afternoon of Nov 7th 2018. The children and staff were very excited to see the bus. With the bus, our children are now arriving at school promptly and able to go to hospital promptly when needed and will make them go out on educational excursion trips.

On behalf of the children and staff of Heritage Outreach we would like to say a big “THANK YOU”.
